Hey, you! I am Lucas, 30, a brazilian cinematographer, nowadays living in Barcelona, Spain, and available worldwide.
Over my seven years as a director of photography, I've had the privilege of working on a wide range of productions: short films, web series, online content, fashion films, documentaries, and music videos. Countless projects with various styles, and I'm grateful to each director for the opportunity to be a part of their vision.
I believe creating an image is, and always will be, pure magic: how we condense space and time into something eternal. It’s a game of illusion where we transform three dimensions into two, deciding what deserves to exist and what doesn’t, conjuring suns and moons at our whim.
This desire for the magic of cinema and imagery led me to study Cinema and Audiovisual at UFF, in Brazil, and later to pursue a master's in cinematography at ESCAC, the Higher School of Cinema and Audiovisual of Catalonia, one of the leading photography master's programs in Europe.
Since I was a kid, I’ve always been fascinated by magic—I dreamed of making people float or objects disappear, transforming scarves into white doves. And even as an adult, I’m still captivated by magic: now it’s about turning light into images and images into something eternal.
